On graduating from University of Surrey I pursued a career within the finance arena specialising in pensions. I worked for Hymans Robertson for 10 years latterly becoming a Partner.

Following the arrival of my second daughter I took a career break and later joined OAC Actuaries and Consultants where I worked for 18 years until 2016.

I have always worked in an environment where numeracy skills are key and with a passion for maths I have often tutored.  In 2016, I established CAL Mathematics and offer a professional tuition service specialising in Mathematics. Helping students develop their understanding of maths is highly rewarding and I am committed to helping students achieve their best. Improvement in maths is most certainly achievable. I encourage students to believe in themselves and with support, effort and the right guidance anything is possible.

In addition to private tutoring, I am pleased to work with schools when they have a temporary need for extra maths resource.  Most recently, I worked within the Maths Department at St.Mary's School, Gerrards Cross, providing support in maths lessons to students in Years 8 and 9.

Students come from a range of schools including; Beaconsfield High School, Berkhamsted School, Beaconsfield Secondary School, Claires Court Maidenhead, St.Mary's School Gerrards Cross, Royal Grammar School (RGS), Thorpe House, Dr Challoner's High School (girls), Bourne End Academy, Dr Challoner's Grammar School (boys), Merchant Taylors' School, Burnham Grammar, St Joan of Arc.
